Are your Thoughts Clouding your Progress?

Creating a meaningful transformation comes from a place of value. Are you focusing on the goals that YOU want, or are you focusing on goals that you believe everyone would expect from you?

No matter what it is, focusing on your mindset is extremely important.

What you say and think will determine how you feel, and how you feel will determine what you do.

As simple as it would be, you cannot achieve physical health without working on your mental health.

 

We are looking in the wrong places to our weight problem, we are seeking comfort from food when what we really need to heal is ourselves.

 

How many times have you reached for more food thinking “I might as well keep going, who cares”, ” It doesn’t matter anyway, I will never reach my goals”. How many times are you going to do this over and over again?

 

Our obsession with body image and food needs to stop. Instead of focusing on a perfect figure, restricting food groups, and thinking less is more- let’s focus on: 

 

Our WHY: find your reason, create an approach that makes you happy. There is not a one size fits all diet, self-love regimen, or exercise program. What made you start in the first place? Find that reason, focus on it.

 

Our FAILURES: Even though I stated failure, this is actually your “lessons”. What caused you to stop in the past? Can we learn from this? Can we heal? Can we start thinking more intuitively? Every time we stop a routine, it’s usually because of something- either boredom, restriction, or just not satisfied. Find what doesn’t work for you, and don’t do it. Do the things that keep you going, not the things that make you want to stop.
Our Internal cues: Listen to what your body is telling you, but also listen to your heart. If you are hurting, I beg that you find a place to heal that will help. Start with journaling, reflecting on your reasons and past, and just taking a deep breath. Life is already hard enough, don’t make it harder on yourself. Be kind to yourself. Speak and treat yourself as you would want your friend, your children, or someone close to you to be treated.
Gorgeous, you don’t need to drop $$$ on a new, guaranteed to work, weight loss program, body wrap, or sweat cream. You need a better mindset that is going to change the way you perceive yourself NOW. You deserve to feel beautiful in your own skin, to own every single thing about you. But know that it doesn’t have to be perfect. You just have to try.
